She is the only person I have met in my life who has been capable of transmitting passion to people… With one class we understood what poetry was all about, how you should look for it and mould it; it was wonderful!
She communicates with people in the most efficient way and elicits the beauty inside of them and leads them along their paths. She wants us to speak our minds with the world, without fear, experimenting and crying out loud! EXPRESSING, otherwise we become empty; we need to feed the soul.
She values you as a person, respecting everyone, because from each and everyone you can learn many things; you mustn’t discriminate anyone because we all have something good and none is better or worse; there are very special elements in people.
Now I have new consciousness and I look at things under a different light, whether they’re beautiful or ugly, I don’t care; nothing goes unnoticed, as everything is important and lovely, so now I feel very special because I value things from a different perspective and not the whole world has this insight. Soma y’Luz achieved all this.

Sometimes light appears: infinite horizons open up and the eye remains struck before the truth.

“The art of observing”, even this small bit would be enough to explain my learning experience during the course…I learnt that there are many ways in which you can observe and record things in your mind that I didn’t know I could awaken within myself, it’s an entire universe to discover…
José Francisco Calle
I can only thank you for your hours of dedicated listening. Your eyes open to observation and your hard working mind. It is so difficult to render in words all the feelings that this course awakened in my soul.

Without exaggerating, I believe these classes have marked a turning point in me, making me rethink about certain ideas already formed about the future…
Juan José Montañés
Undoubtly after long thinking, I can say that the period I spent here made me discover a different world, one where my art and I are allies, engaging in the hard task of finding the light that can be our guide to open that wonderful door that resides in all human beings.
I consider this as an exercise for the spirit, which has spurred my belief in life.
Antonio Jiménez González
Words are not suitable to articulate this, but I want to clearly say that this course
introduced me to a “new Alvaro” that I didn’t know and that I find very fascinating…
Álvaro Sánchez Martínez
It made me believe in love because I saw it, felt it and feel it now, because when I open my eyes I realize that it permeates our entire existence

…I learnt to be a better person and expand my being…
Asunción Gálvez
I learnt to be introspective, to look at everything with new eyes, to look inside of people, the essence of things. I learnt how to walk in the street with open eyes, discovering the beauty of everyday life and the sadness of looking without seeing.
Antonio Espinosa
I gaze at the world with new eyes…

I have also discovered poetry as a very important element to express sensations. When you choose or are searching for a verse and, at the same time, ponder over all this love, this passion, this desgarro tear and this peacefulness that you put into your work.
All that I experimented on this course made me widen the theme of pictorial art by making photography a key element in the composition of my pieces of art.
I think that this workshop will represent a turning point in my career.
José María Jiménez Pérez-Cerozal
… Soma y’Luz has taught me that there is nothing bad and we shouldn’t be ashamed of our actions nor of the mistakes we make, because they shouldn’t be considered as such; Soma has a special gift that makes her capable of passing on human values. I don’t know how to word what I want to say but…IT’S WONDERFUL!
Ana Cabero
I spoke, laughed and believe that I almost cried during our last class.
It makes me sad that this is coming to an end. I don’t have pages to write everything but I want to voice my appreciation for all that I learnt, nor do I have enough to explain what I lived.
Patricia Hidalgo
I am once again full of life. I have seen myself from the inside simply the way I am. I have learnt to appreciate the simple things in life. The meaning of feelings through the images selected during the hard paths we have to follow.
Now I feel happier, now I have come into myself, this is life, now I am free….
I should say that to give classes in any form of art, first of all, you have to really feel the art deep inside of you, in your guts… to be able to purify ourselves and to feel free. Soma Y’Luz has shown us all this and even more through her ability, her way of expressing herself and of being so honest with herself she has proven us that in the world you have to fight, to go forth when we are led by a pure idea. You have to feel and to fill the soul with truthfulness and leave pettiness and injustice out of this path that is our life.
Águeda Climent Payá
What I succeeded doing was to look at myself through “friendly eyes” and to get to know myself better, to give love and self-love. I learnt to be happy and to dream that my universe is real.
Lourdes Conde Bueno
I have reunited with my creativity vein, which I had left a bit on the side lately, so that drawing and painting didn’t make much sense anymore. Now I think that looking, perceiving and feeling are fundamental and that the creative process is the result of a need to express what is felt or thought. More than creating, I think I have to focus on “watching to be able to see”.
After this course, my resolution is to keep “searching”… And never to forget what it has taught us: the most important practice is to observe and to feel the messages that things around us convey.
Laura Romero
The teacher, Soma y’Luz, is so easy going, wise, with a special human kindness, motivating, with a gift for transmitting us her passion for art and life. I am aware that this course has opened my eyes, has taught me to “look” at reality from a different point of view and to strengthen my potential.
